Verdi's sits right on the Mumbles seafront with the kind of views you'd normally have to pay considerably more for. The gelato is excellent, the Italian café food is reliable and the people-watching is free. It's been a Swansea institution for decades and hasn't needed to change.
The interior is all light and sea views, the terrace is better in summer, and the queue is worth it. Order a scoop or two to take on the pier, that's the correct move.
