The SA1 marina is quietly one of Swansea's most pleasant stretches, a regenerated waterfront with moored boats, waterside cafés and the kind of relaxed atmosphere that doesn't demand anything from you. It lacks Mumbles' obvious charm, but it's far less busy.
Good for a slow afternoon walk with coffee, or early evening when the light hits the water. Swansea doesn't shout about this enough.
