Queen's View

£0–£3outdoorLoch Tummel, Pitlochry

One of Scotland's most celebrated viewpoints. Loch Tummel stretching into Highland mountains.

£0–£3 per person (parking charge)

Queen Victoria stood at this viewpoint in 1866 and gave it her name. The view justifies it. Loch Tummel stretches west between forested slopes toward Schiehallion's perfect cone, framed in a composition that looks almost designed.

There's a visitor centre with a good café. The view is best in early morning or late afternoon when the light is on the water. A short walk takes you to higher viewpoints above the main platform.
