Queen Victoria stood at this viewpoint in 1866 and gave it her name. The view justifies it. Loch Tummel stretches west between forested slopes toward Schiehallion's perfect cone, framed in a composition that looks almost designed.
There's a visitor centre with a good café. The view is best in early morning or late afternoon when the light is on the water. A short walk takes you to higher viewpoints above the main platform.
