Relaunched in 2022 in a Southwark railway arch, the Africa Centre brings together a restaurant serving West African and East African food, a rotating gallery programme, and a night events series that spans Afrobeats to contemporary jazz.
The food is genuinely excellent, jollof, suya, peri-peri lamb, and the events calendar is reliably interesting. A vital space that does what it says on the label.
