Crail Harbour is small, historic and relentlessly photogenic. Stone piers, coloured boats, the sea below and Fife pantile rooftops above, every composition works without trying. It's been a working harbour since the 12th century and still earns the attention.
Come at low tide for the full rockpool foreground. The Lobster Hut operates here in season for the best post-photography reward you'll find on the East Neuk.
