Truro Cathedral

£0–£5activityTruro, Cornwall

England's most recently built cathedral. Victorian Gothic, three spires, stunning vaulted nave.

£0–£5 per person

Completed in 1910 and the only cathedral built on a new site in England since the Reformation. The three spires dominate the Truro skyline and the interior, all Bath stone, stained glass, and soaring vaults, rewards the visit.

Free to enter, peaceful on a weekday. The city centre around it is small and manageable; the independent shops and market on the square are worth the extra hour.
