Wapping Wharf's Cargo development turned two rows of shipping containers into Bristol's most interesting food destination. The traders change occasionally but the quality stays consistent: good ramen, honest pizza, strong local brews, and usually something from a West African or Caribbean kitchen that outperforms everything around it.
The harbourside setting means outdoor tables in summer that genuinely deliver. It's busiest Thursday to Sunday evenings. Arrive around 6pm if you want seating without circling. The SS Great Britain sits a five-minute walk away if you want to extend the evening.
