The Cliff Railway has been hauling people up Constitution Hill since 1896, making it the oldest electric cliff railway in Britain. The ride is slow, slightly vertiginous and entirely wonderful, wooden cars on a steep track, sea expanding below you, the town shrinking with every metre.
At the top: a camera obscura (genuinely impressive), a café and views that span from Snowdonia to the Pembrokeshire coast on a clear day. The whole of Cardigan Bay from one headland. Worth every penny.
