Tobermory Distillery has been producing whisky on this site since 1798. The harbour-front location is extraordinary, the tour takes you through the full process, and the two expressions, the unpeated Tobermory and the heavily peated Ledaig, are genuinely different and good.
A 45-minute tour plus tasting is well worth the spend. The distillery shop sells bottles unavailable elsewhere.
