Castell Deudraeth is the Victorian castellated manor at the edge of the Portmeirion estate, converted into a boutique hotel with a brasserie, gardens and access to one of Wales's most extraordinary architectural landscapes. Staying here puts you inside the Portmeirion experience rather than day-tripping through it.
The food is excellent, the rooms are considered and the walks through the estuary woodland begin at the front door. It's expensive and worth it.
