Ramore has been one of the most booked restaurants on the Causeway Coast for decades and it earns that reputation. Harbour views, proper seafood, and a casual but buzzy atmosphere that manages the difficult trick of feeling relaxed and serious about food at the same time. The Thermidor is the move if you're here for the first time. The wine list is considered without being difficult.
Book ahead. The Ramore group has several restaurants in the same building on Harbour Road, the Wine Bar is the one with the harbour view and the full seafood menu. The others are good but this is the flagship. In summer the wait for walk-ins can be substantial. In shoulder seasons it's easier. Either way, it's worth planning around.
