The Plantation Garden occupies a disused chalk quarry just minutes from the city centre and almost nobody outside Norwich knows it exists. The Victorian terracing, Gothic fountain, and wild lush planting make it feel like a film set, improbably beautiful and utterly peaceful.
Entry is minimal donation, it's almost always quiet, and it photographs beautifully. One of England's genuine hidden gems.
