Sugar Loaf rises alone above Abergavenny in a way that makes it look more dramatic than its 596 metres justify, a distinctive cone visible from the town centre on clear days, with 360-degree views from the summit taking in the Brecon Beacons, the Severn Estuary and the Black Mountains.
